Geoenvironmental, Geotechnical Consultants Bath, Reading & Wilton Offices

Earth Environmental & Geotechnical are a small to medium sized consultancy practice that offers a wide range of services to the land, energy, retail, housing, commercial and property sectors.

We are looking to recruit THREE staff for our busy offices where you will be joining an established team of geologists and environmental scientists.

We would be keen to hear from you if you are a geologist, geotechnical engineer or engineering geologist.

The role involves the following:

a) Assisting with report writing for Geo Environmental Projects.

b) Environmental monitoring for ground gases, groundwater, dust, and noise.

c) Writing of Phase 1 Desk Studies.

d) Writing of Coal Mining Risk Assessments.

e) Assisting with the development of Remediation Strategies.

f) Supervision of site investigation works including logging of soils/rocks in accordance with BS5930 and Eurocode.

g) Scheduling of geotechnical and chemical testing on soils and communication with laboratory.

h) Use of Holebase to produce borehole, trial pits logs and cross sections.

We offer a flexible work life, with a combination of home/office based work with a further option of a 4 day working week.

You should ideally be already based within an hour of each relevant office and have worked for a similar consultancy (or contractor) and have a valid UK driving licence.
