ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR/DIRECTOR

Earth Environmental & Geotechnical have an opportunity for an Associate Director (or Director) to join and enhance a busy team in the Stockport office.

We have a wide and varied client portfolio comprising of commercial, retail and residential developer clients, as well as servicing the energy, landfill and utility sectors. With an enviable reputation for high quality design, pragmatic advice and project delivery, this is an opportunity for the right candidate to develop and enhance their career, within a niche consultancy practice.

You will have a blend of technical skills together with strong business acumen and have the ability to prepare sales and marketing plans including objectives, strategies and actions, focussing on our core business activities in site investigation, site assessment and remediation design work.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

► Experience in the field of contaminated land, environmental and geotechnical works.

► Has proven technical knowledge and design experience of the core geotechnical elements including foundations, retaining walls, earthwork, slopes as well as ground investigation works.

► Act as Project Director on key geotechnical / contaminated land projects, including programming and resource monitoring, quality control, technical management and delivery.

► Utilise your network and sector knowledge of clients to create new business opportunities in-line with our plan for growth.

The candidate would be expected to demonstrate an ability to understand complex problems and to conceive innovative solutions, manage projects, deliver expressions of interest, pre-qualifications, costed proposals/tender documentation, programmes and negotiate fees with clients.

Ideally you will have over ten years experience and have worked within a consultancy or contracting environment with a background in geology, civil engineering or geotechnical engineering.
