Earth Environmental & Geotechnical Ltd. is pleased to announce that Lewis Waller and Ross Page have joined the team at our Head Office based in Stockport.
Ross and Lewis joined Earth Environmental and Geotechnical Ltd in January and have already been involved in site investigations at various sites across the North West.
Lewis Waller joined as a GeoEnvironmental Consultant Graduating from Oxford University with a 2.1 in Master of Earth Sciences Degree, initially with an interest in resource exploration, Lewis transitioned to the construction sector and has worked across the UK completing site investigations and geoenvironmental projects from Hastings to Larig (Northeast Scotland).
Lewis has skills in Phase I: Desk studies and preliminary risk assessment, Phase II: Site Investigation, CMRA, and Remediation Strategies using a range of intrusive ground investigation techniques. Additionally, Lewis is experienced with a variety of in-situ testing from Plate Bearing Tests, soakaway, TRL-Dynamic probes, Inclinometer monitoring, plus gas and groundwater monitoring and sampling. Lewis is a Fellow of the Geological Society of London and working towards chartership.
Ross Page also joins our team as a GeoEnvironmental Consultant. Ross graduated with a BSc (hons) in geology with physical geography completing further studies at Lancaster University with a MSc (Hons) in Volcanology and the Environment.
Ross has worked on a comprehensive range of projects supervising site investigations, and liaising with contractors and clients. He is experienced in conducting onsite and off site investigations including soil and rock logging, window sampling, trial pits, cable percussion boreholes, and rotary drilling to name a few. Ross is also experienced in factual and interpretive reports which included analysing chemical and geotechnical results, physical testing results such as soakaways and plate load testing, and monitoring, plus remediation design.
